St. Mary's Parents' Club

Mission Statement

The Parents' Club is an important part of the St. Mary's Cahtolic School community.  It is an organized body of volunteer parents serving the school, students, teachers and administration in a Christian manner through a variety of events designed to enrich the social and academic program of our children.  In addition, the Club helps purchase much needed items outside of the school's annual budget.

Hi again,

I hope you are all enjoying the newsletters.  I would like to give a special thanks to Alice Pineda for putting these together.  She has done a great job.  We have started getting volunteers to make copies for the teachers on Monday mornings from 8:30 to 12:00.  We have it covered until Thanksgiving break.  If you are interested in helping out, e-mail me (jbcrisp@sbcglobal.net) and I can put you on the schedule. Thanks, Jamie

Recipe of the Month

Yummy Mummy Dogs

• 1 package (8 count) refrigerated crescent rolls (low fat is fine)
• 8 reduced-fat kosher hot dogs (or hot dogs with no nitrates)
• mustard and catsup

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.  Unwrap refrigerated crescent rolls.  Divide crescent rolls into eight triangles.  Pulling the dough taut, wrap it around a hot dog, making it look like the bandages on a mummy.  Repeat with remaining hot dogs and crescent rolls.  Place on a baking sheet, and bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and the hot dogs are cooked through.
